Events

I’m so excited for the shows and events coming up in 2026! Last year I had a wonderful time exhibiting, meeting, and chatting with so many kindred spirits, and I can’t wait to do it all again this year.

Are you part of a Guild or Stitching Group and interested in a pop-up shop visit, workshop, or trunk show? I’d be absolutely delighted to chat and plan something special with you! Just email me at themakersstash@gmail.com or use the contact form below, and we can talk through all the details.

Hand Stitching at Sea with Travelrite and Celebrity Cruises

Come aboard with me on the luxurious Celebrity Edge as we sale around the Pacific Islands, stitching, sipping, sightseeing and enjoying a relaxing time together.

On this 14 day cruise leaving and returning to Sydney we’ll visit Noumea, New Caledonia; Suva, Lautoka, Fiji, Lifou, Loyalty Island; Mystery Island, Vila, and Vanuatu where we will be treated to hosted tours, sights and fabric shops.

While on board the ship join me for five days of stitching bliss! I’m designing two brand new EPP projects, plus I’ll be sharing a small trunk show, discussing how I create my scrappy look, taking a look at my slow stitching style and techniques, as well as sharing all of my best practices for English Paper Piecing.

Learn more about this amazing trip in the brochure here.

We will be embarking 24th March and returning 7th April 2027.

Join me in October 2027 for a very special quilting adventure along the beautiful Murray River, hosted by Travelrite Tours aboard the iconic PS Murray Princess.

This 10-night journey combines the gentle pleasures of cruising, quilting, sightseeing and good company. I’ll be joining you as your quilting tutor, with workshops throughout the cruise and a brand-new English Paper Piecing project designed especially for this adventure. It will be a wonderful opportunity to slow down, stitch together and enjoy the company of fellow makers while taking in the ever-changing scenery of the Murray.

The journey begins in Adelaide before travelling through South Australia, with time to explore Victor Harbor, the Barossa Valley and Kangaroo Island, as well as discovering the history, landscapes and wildlife of the Murray River. Highlights include a visit to a William Morris & Co exhibition, visits to quilt shops and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the region’s food, wine and scenery.

And, of course, there will be plenty of time aboard the beautiful PS Murray Princess, Australia’s iconic paddlewheeler, to relax, make new friends and enjoy some stitching as the river gently rolls by.

I would absolutely love for you to join me for this special stitching adventure!

Trunk Shows & Demonstrations

I love bringing the magic of slow stitching and English Paper Piecing to guilds, craft groups, and shops! In my trunk shows and demonstrations, I combine storytelling, technique, and visual inspiration, sharing a wide range of completed work and works-in-progress. You’ll get an inside look at my creative process, pattern development, and the art of slow stitching, all in an engaging and interactive way.

Whether it’s a one-hour trunk show, a hands-on demonstration, or a pop-up shop experience, my events are designed to inspire, teach, and connect.
