Description
The Jewel Heart Pouch is an easy hand sewing project using the English Paper Piecing method and jewel shapes to create a pretty pouch to hold all of your sewing essentials.
This is an easy ‘pick up and put down’ project when you can only spare a few moments of time for a bit of slow stitching. It’s a great project for beginners to EPP who want to try a different shape to the humble hexagon. It’s also great for raiding you fabric scraps.
I use my pouch to carry my sewing essentials and it travels between project baskets pending on what I feel like working on. Of course it could be used to carry all sorts of things, journaling pens and pieces, small sewing or yarn projects, book or toiletries.

Pattern Options:
- Colour PDF digital download file, available in A4 document or US Letter Size. Includes printable 1″ jewel shape templates.
- Colour A5 printed booklet (does not include printable templates)
Kit includes the following:
- 100 pack of 1″ Jewel Heart Paper Templates
- 50 pretty pieces of fabric approximately 5.5″ x 5″ each. These fabrics are a variety of quilting cotton. The fabrics have been selected to give a similar look to my pouch but are not exactly the same. Kit to be chosen at random.
The kit DOES NOT include: Pattern, fabric for the inside, fabric for binding, batting, thread, or pouch tie.
